sure there is difference. If u only put http://www.friendster.com/friends (without your id), other people will only go to their own friendster friends page, if they have already logged in. For those who hasn't logged in, i guess they will be shown with the login page. Nobody can ever see your friends page :)
Try compare the effect after you logged out from friendster.
