why?

your boss calls you into his room. tells you you have been promoted. you come out of the room. what do you do next?

you've just baked a tray of the most fantastic pre-mixed cookies ever! what do you do next?

your tortoises have finally laid eggs!! what would you do when you find out?

your cactus died due to overdose of tlc.... what do you do?

i suppose most of us will call somebody and share the news. imagine if there is nobody to share the news with... what does that feel like? i suppose it makes the event less meaningful... more empty.

so i suppose our "existence" depends very much on whether or not we are surrounded by people who matters to us, ... or rather people to whom we matter (is that a grammatical crime?? well, too bad! :) )... telling or sharing news or events with people who care is what makes those news or events special.

i suppose that is why so many people are afraid of being lonely. it makes life a little bit more empty... but sometimes, you just need to look around a little bit more, and you'll find somebody who matters and who thinks you matter. unfortunately, very often, those are the ones we take for granted.

Halo? Why WHY?
You sounded lonely. What happened?
Hey, anytime you needed someone to talk to, I'm still around. Always happy to take you for another round of American Burger and CoCoke Milk.
