Ever wondered why male dominate the world? (most of the areas anyway)... could it be due to the way we introduce each other?
"Hi! This is Peter, and this is Peter's girlfriend/wife, Jane" <-- you remember Peter and that he has a girlfriend/wife.
Then Peter and Jane broke up. You see Jane on the street.. and you whisper to your friend "Say, isn't that Peter's ex-girlfriend/wife?"
The guy is remembered, the girl is remembered in association to the guy. sigh... no identity...
So girls, in future, introduce as follows :
"Hi! This is Jane, and this is Jane's boyfriend/husband, Peter" !
