inertia... i know it too well. it is really too easy to stay in status quo. even if what one is currently doing is not easy. as in it is easier to continue doing something difficult than to change direction and do something easier.
does that make sense?
i wonder if i am the first to document this... comfort zone is really not that comfortable after all (sometimes)!

Wow! Yes ! that absolutely makes perfect sense to me! You probably are the first to document this.
which leaves me wondering... should I put this statement on paper and SHOW it to the persons choosing this behavior and possibly make a difference? I mean, telling someone they are making their lives more difficult continuing that way never seems to phase them, but, putting it the way you have, in black & white..... perhaps an eye opener? we shall see.... thank you!
Documenting this actually helps when you forget the raw emotion of what you felt prior. Always will be an eyeopener when you need it.
